Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 93 in Madison is excited to present the annual Heavy Bombers Weekend which showcases unique and historical aircraft, civilian and military, from years gone by!
Â
The admission fee is valid for all three days, and allows you to walk around and through the aircraft for no additional fee. You can also purchase ride tickets (separately) for a once-in-a-lifetime experience on many of the airplanes!Â
Â
Our event occurs the weekend before the annual EAA AirVenture convention in Oshkosh, and Madison is quite often a stopping point for hundreds of other aircraft en route to Oshkosh. You never know who or what will make a guest appearance at the event!
There will also be several general aviation and home-built airplanes on static display.Â
Proceeds from the Heavy Bombers Weekend event directly benefit EAA Chapter 93's Aviation Programs.
This amazing event is organized entirely by volunteers and we are always looking for enthusiastic individuals and groups to help us make this event a roaring success!  We have openings for several roles on all three days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, both during the morning and the afternoon. No prior experience is needed -- just the desire to hang out at the airport and give us a hand!
If you have what it takes to be part of an amazing team of aviation enthusiasts and have some spare time, come and join us!Â
